2-Tier Round Wood Bento Box is now more versatile, more fun to use.  Same cedar wood material and same traditional magemono craftsmanship.  Use it for your bento box lunch, or turn it into a snack box or pastry box.  Let your creativity take over!   
 
This 2-tier circular bent wood bento box is made with the same 4mm cedar wood panels, steamed and bent to formed into circular shape at ShibataToku by Artisan Mr. Morita and the team. Round bento boxes is slightly more time-consuming to produce than the rectangular ones. 
 
Traditionally, Japanese filled the deeper bottom box with hearty white rice and use the shallower box for small portions of meat and veggies.   Just be creative. It can be used as storage containers for anything. Overturn the lid and it can be used as a tray for cups, condiments or snacks.   The round box is also perfect for cookies or pastries.  Fill it up with macarons and sweets. The tier-ed box is also fun to use to create unique individual dessert plates or teatime sets to impress your guests. Or use it as sustainable gift box that can be kept and re-use.
 
Made with finely planed 4mm thick cedar wood with the iconic sakura bark stitching. It has a very pleasant aroma of cedar wood. Bento boxes is the most popular item and veteran artisan Mr. Morita with over 50 years of experience can make about 60 units a day.
