Adding to our classic rectangular bento box collection, here is the 1-Tier Round Wood Bento Box.  Same cedar wood material and same traditional magemono craftsmanship.  
 
This Single-tier Round bentwood bento box is made with the same 4mm cedar wood panels, steamed and bent to formed into circular shape at ShibataToku by Artisan Mr. Morita and the team. Round bento boxes is slightly more time-consuming to produce than the rectangular ones. 
 
Aside from onigiri rice balls, use it for burger, bread, sandwiches.  
Just be creative. It can be used as storage containers for anything. Overturn the lid and it can be used as a tray for cups, condiments or snacks.   The round box is also perfect for cookies or pastries.  Fill it up with macarons and sweets.  Create unique individual afternoon tea sets to impress your guests. Or use it as sustainable gift box that can be kept and re-use.
 
Made with finely planed 4mm thick cedar wood with the iconic sakura bark stitching. It has a very pleasant aroma of cedar wood. Bento boxes is the most popular item and veteran artisan Mr. Morita with over 50 years of experience can make about 60 units a day.
