Our Kyushu artisans are coming together to create this special cedar incense gift set.  When Mr. Baba meets Donguri Acorn Fairy in the cedar forest, and the fairy is lending a hand to hold the incense for Mr. Baba (in a hands-free way).  
 
Fan of Mr. Baba already knows his watermill incense is not like other commercial Japanese incenses.  All handcrafted in the cedar forest using only natural ingredient.  And the acorn fairy is making its rare appearance as an incense holder, riding on a big leaf. Handcrafted by Mrs. Kajiwara in the mountain of history pottery village Koishiwara. The clay and glaze are all proudly hand-processed using local natural minerals from the mountains.  As nature sings in harmony, we present to you this exceptionally beautiful pairing for your gifting.  
 
As things are all handmade, each one is different.  Occasionally, a super chubby donguri acorn fairy appears.  No commerically packaged goods can compare to this unique gift set.

ABOUT BABA WATERMILL
Mr. Baba and his wife resides next to a gigantic 100-year-old waterwheel, in the mountain of Yame Village.  The mill runs non-stop on hydro-power producing cedar leaf powder where Mr. Baba turns them into all-natural cedar-leaf incense.

ABOUT KOISHIWARA-WARE
Koishiwara-ware takes pride in carrying over 300 years of pottery history, making "mingei" humble utilitarian works, using only locally harvested raw material.  Up in the remote mountain,  potters escavate rocks and minerals to process their own clay and glazes.  Everything is hand-thrown and handbuilt.  And many use their beautiful surrounding as their inspiration.    Their work was praised by Masters Yanagi Muneyoshi and Bernard Leach during the Mingei Movement in the early 1900s as "Functional Beauty".   Read the stories about Koishiwara-ware and Yamamaru Kiln.
